About Us

Welcome to Grace Message Tabernacle, a non-denominational message Christian church in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Established in November 2001, our church has grown from humble beginnings with Pastor John Danquah and 25 devoted individuals who were led to establish a ministry in Pastor John’s home basement in Brampton, on the western side of the Greater Toronto Area, through prayer and fasting. In May 2012, God blessed us with our own church building, after renting for eight years with a strong vision for the building project, with immense support from committed church members and some individuals, and sister church from Hanover Ontario in the building and construction of our church.

At Grace Message Tabernacle, we hold to the belief that Acts 2:38 is our creed, the Bible is our ultimate authority, and Love is our guiding principle. We affirm that the word of God is final, and we sincerely believe Rev. William Marrion Branham is the Prophet sent by God for this generation to prepare the Gentiles for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor John Danquah was introduced to The Message of the Hour at a student gathering (Student Party) at the age of 17. The message came to him in December 1975. Following his baptism in 1976 he felt a calling to spread The Gospel. While studying at school, our pastor would find himself praying behind the library, and students would casually join him without being called to pray. From 1976-77, he really took a stand for the message of the hour, and students started to follow his ministry, which involved preaching in classrooms, being of help to those who were in need and to those who were eager to hear the truth. After completing his education in 1980, Pastor John established 4 churches which are still standing in Ghana today.

In 1982, he met his dear wife, Sister Ernestina, and they were happily married in April 1984. God has blessed them with 6 children and 4 grandchildren.

In June 2013, We dedicated our church to God on the 50th anniversary of the appearance of the Cloud. Today, Pastor John’s ministry has flourished, welcoming many individuals bridal members from diverse backgrounds as part of our church family.

Pastor John now looks forward to celebrating 50 years in the ministry in 2025! We give all the praise to our Lord God, and Savior Jesus Christ.
